  • Series: Ideas Have Consequeces

Today we can be taken captive by the philosophy of me. It is all about me. Supporting that is the idea that all we need to do is improve somethings about myself, act accordingly and the world will be a better place. Beginning with philosophy, down through education and psychology right through to religion, the idea that man is basically good is a major premise. Ideas do make the world go 'round.

The idea that man is not that bad and only needs some modifications to improve life is a lie sold to the human race. Evil is a reality that needs to be seen and taken into account. However, God has given us His answer in Jesus Christ in whom all the fullness dwell in bodily form. And, in Him, we have been made complete.

Admitting our sin is the right way to improve ourselves. Losing ourselves for His sake is the path to finding ourselves. Jesus Christ is truly the answer.
